Developing Your Plan for Training |
Format: 2½ hour session, 30-40 participants, mini-lecture with overheads, questions and answers, small group work on training projects. |
In addition to the major content sessions, each module training institute concludes with a session that focuses on adult learning concepts and strategies as well as on building a community of learners. During this session, faculty work with participants to review the content and training strategies presented in each of the module’s sessions. Participants have an opportunity to clarify topics and discuss issues that they may encounter when they train with the PITC information and materials. Time is allotted for participants to work in small groups to begin creating lesson plans for their certification papers and for their use in training infant care teachers. |
