The importance of responsive caregiving, individualizing care through an understanding of infant temperament, support for the critical role of family and culture, and stages of emotional development are discussed. The video, Getting in Tune: Creating Nurturing Relationships with Infants and Toddlers is shown, followed by whole group questions and answers.
