I have taught in the community college system since 1996. Prior to teaching in the community college setting, I owned an operated a child care for almost ten years accepting ages infants through kindergarten.
Currently, I serve on several area boards including our area CRS-aeyc, Head Start Advisory board and Smart Start council. I have worked as a teen pregnancy mentor, parent educator and child care technical assistance coordinator. Working with those that serve children has long been a passion of mine. Now, I teach the importance of the early years to those entering the profession.
