Marilyn Bailey joined WestEd in 2002 as a Trainer with the Program for Infant/Toddler Caregivers, Center for Child and Family Studies. She is responsible for development, preparation, and delivery of training to programs in Region XI.

Previously, Bailey was a Children's Services Specialist with San Bernardino County Superintendent of Schools, where she trained potential child care providers on the fundamental principles of caring for children and providing a stimulating learning environment. She also operated a licensed in-home child care facility.
