I have worked with infants and toddlers for 16 years as a caregiver, teacher, and Education Specialist for Early Head Start in South Texas. After obtaining PITC Certification I provide yearly training to teaching staff to incorporate the PITC Modules into a quality comprehensive child development program for infants and toddlers. I work closely with staff to modify environments, discuss temperaments and guidance techniques, as well as working with parents to enhance routines especially "Hello's" and "Goodbyes". I have conducted trainings in all four of the PITC modules and have attended the "Beginning Together" Institute. I incorporate best practices to assist teaching staff to enhance inclusive environments for all children. I obtained my Associate Degree in Child Development at Coastal Bend College and I have earned my BAAS Degree with Human Science Emphasis at Texas A & M Kingsville (2005). I am currently obtaining my Master's Degree.
