A panel of distinguished faculty-experts in the field of cultural sensitivity and competence share personal experiences that inform their work and respond to issues raised by participants after viewing the video Essential Connections: Ten Keys to Culturally Sensitive Child Care. The video includes five programmatic requirements of culturally sensitive care and five strategies caregivers can use to become more aware of their own and others' cultural perspectives, as well as a process for working through cultural conflicts and misunderstandings.
