I am currently a mentor teacher and pedagogista at a Reggio inspired school. I work with children ages 2-5, support teachers in developing emergent curriculum, provide teacher trainings as well as parent education.
Previous work in Early Childhood:
• Founded a library and literacy non-profit program in Cuenca, Ecuador providing training to teachers in rural low income schools
• Bilingual Preschool teacher in Cuenca, Ecuador
• Early Childhood Education Manager for the Children's Discovery Museum of San Jose where I focused on outreach, programming and activities for children age 5 and under and their families.
• Family mentor for Even Start: leading interactive parent & child classes, providing case management, home visits as well as support and training to Even Start infant/toddler caregivers.
I am bilingual and able to provide trainings in both Spanish and English.
