Lorena Schenck is an Adjunct Faculty at Folsom Lake College in the Early Childhood Education department.
Prior to teaching at the college level, she was an Early Childhood Specialist with Region IX Head Start Training and Technical Assistance Network for 4 years. Before that she was an Education Coordinator for a Head Start/Early Head Start program for seven years. She expanded her understanding of the K-12 school system by working for the California School Boards Association. Schenck has a passion for working with early childhood programs and seeing the children, families and staff flourish.
Schenck received a BA in child development from California State University, Sacramento and an MA in human development with specializations in leadership in education and human services, as well as infant/toddler care and development from Pacific Oaks College.
