Terry DeMartini recently retired as Training and Technical Assistance Director for WestEd�s Program for Infant/Toddler Caregivers. These training institutes are offered internationally for Early Head Start programs and nationwide for other early childhood educators. She was also in charge of the certification of participants and participated as faculty in activities of the Early Head Start National Resource Center. Terry currently works with WestEd�s Early Head Start Expansion Project and is working as an early childhood consultant. Terry has served as adjunct faculty at community colleges, Executive Director of a countywide childcare resource and referral agency and Director/Head Teacher for various early childhood programs. She also served as a primary grade public school teacher. She received her BA in education from San Francisco State University and an MA in early childhood education from Sonoma State University. She also has a California elementary education credential and a California Community College credential.
