Sarah Sun has been the Regional Coordinator for Region IV of the Program for Infant/Toddler Care (PITC) project at WestEd for over six years. In this capacity, she manages and oversees a network of Infant/Toddler Specialists covering San Francisco, Alameda, Napa, and Solano Counties in California. Her role involves collaborating and coordinating with local child care planning councils, resource and referral agencies, county commissions, and other statewide training systems to strengthen infant/toddler care initiatives. Additionally, she provides PITC training and technical assistance services in both English and Mandarin.
Prior to joining WestEd, Sun served for eight years as the Education/Inclusion Service Area Manager for a Head Start/Early Head Start program in San Francisco.
Sun holds a Master of Social Work (MSW) from Rutgers University and a Master of Arts (MA) in Early Childhood Education from San Francisco State University.
