I began working in the field of early childhood care and education in 2008. I have a BA in Child Development, and an MA in Education with an emphasis in Curriculum and Instruction. I specialize in campus-care, but I have worked in other kinds of organizations such as private child care, camps, and before/after school care. I have a passion for coaching and mentoring others in the field of ECE. Sharing my experiences and hearing about others' experiences brings me so much joy. I have a lot of experience in creating and presenting engaging trainings for adult audiences, so if you need assistance in this area please don't hesitate to reach out to me.
A little bit about me is I am married, I have two young children - a son and a daughter, and I have one fur baby - a pit bull mix. I am a Californian at heart. What can I say, I love the sunshine! But I am loving my new home in Oregon where there is so much greenery to explore and admire. Our goal as a family is to have some property to live more self-sufficiently and raise our children with a Huckleberry Finn kind of childhood. I love the color purple, Harry Potter, poppies, baking, watching new movies, reading with my children, and traveling.
