Within almost three decades in Early Childhood Education. My passion for nurturing young minds quickly propelled me through the ranks. I dedicated four impactful years working directly with infants and toddlers before transitioning to a preschool teacher role, where I spent another six years enriching and guiding young learners in the classroom. My career path soon led me to diverse roles, enabling me to expand my influence beyond the classroom. As a Family Child Advocate, I worked directly with parents, coaching and empowering them to support their children's development. After five rewarding years in this role, I returned to work with children as a Child Development Specialist, where I gained invaluable experience coaching and mentoring Family Childcare Providers through the FCCHEN program and DRDP assessments. This role culminated in a 13-year tenure where I honed my expertise in fostering child development and supporting providers. Transitioning into consultancy, I embraced the role of Trauma-Informed Care Consultant, where I spent five insightful years guiding individuals in adopting trauma-informed approaches. Currently, I serve as an ECE Curriculum Administrator, utilizing my extensive experience and certification in various curricula, including The Growing Brain, Trauma-Informed Care, SEEDS, FLIP-IT, Build Your Bounce, Strengthening Families, DRDP, and PITC. I possess the unique ability to connect with a diverse audience, ensuring inclusivity in my efforts to advance early childhood education. My lifelong dedication to ECE, coupled with my leadership and training capabilities, continues to fuel my commitment to nurturing the next generation of educators, children, and families. BA in Child Development and Minor in Social Work.
