The Program for Infant/Toddler Care (PITC) Partners for Quality (PQ) is a professional development program for teachers and administrators at infant/toddler centers and for family child care providers. It is part of PITC’s ongoing commitment to improve the care and support the learning of children birth to three. Through PITC training courses and technical assistance, PQ participants learn a responsive, relationship-based approach to infant and toddler care and education.

PITC Partners for Quality offers subsidized online and on-site training, mentoring and coaching in the PITC Philosophy to groups of infant/toddler care teachers, administrators, and family child care providers throughout California.

In partnership with the California Department of Education, PITC Partners for Quality (PQ) provides subsidized training in California funded by federal child care and development monies earmarked for infant/toddler program capacity building. Funds are limited and are distributed based on the number of infants and toddlers in each county.
